If you’ve read and loved these…
“So, what’s your novel about?” 🧐
Well, how *do* you describe it? Unless you’ve managed to come up with a concise one-liner that effortlessly blends all the key elements of the thousands of words you’ve laid down on the page, comparable titles (comps) are an easier way. We all like quick, digestible information, and this is no different.
And as “show, don’t tell” is one of the central tenets of fiction writing, what better way for me to let you know what The Third Letter is about than to show you books with the same themes, style, or vibe.
If you’ve read and liked any of these I mention, you’re in the right place 📚
(When I was putting this post together, I um’ed and ah’ed over which other novels to highlight, because, frankly, who do I think I am to compare myself, my writing, and my story to these? It seemed so arrogant. But they do say to go big, or go home, and so I took a deep breath, swallowed down the discomfort I felt, and did it 🙃)
